Artist Talk | Justyna Kielbowic – Dr Nadia Kelbova

Justyna Kielbowicz, A4 DIT Graduate Award recipient 2016, will be joining us at the studio to talk about her exhibition Dr Nadia Kelbova!

Justyna is a contemporary photographer whose work is mostly conceptual.

Within her projects she urge the viewer to slow down and consider the choices and changes made in everyday life and how these influence the world and people around us. She likes to challenge the photographic authenticity and to examine the nature of reality by questioning our socially constructed norms. Kielbowicz also found her passion for documentary photography while traveling around the world.

In 2016 she was selected for the RDS Art Award exhibition as one of the best 13 emerging artists in Ireland for her project Dr Nadia Kelbova.  This project documents the research undertaken by Dr. Nadia Kelbova in the areas of electromagnetic, gravitational and light waves using her Psychotronic Weapon Deflector and her goal of protecting humanity from the sinister influences of these mechanisms of social engineering.

Dr Nadia Kelbova, the exhibition and talk, form part of the programme for the PhotoIreland Festival 2017.
