On Thursday the 18th September we’re kicking off our online group crit series with an introductory session.

This will inform members of how the crits will operate, and allow you to give input on what you’d like to get out of the process. 

The plan is to host monthly sessions where two selected members will present their work to the group (In progress bits/completed work that you’re building on); and all other participants will take turns providing their feedback for these artists.

Before each session, the artists of that month will send us on samples of their work to be distributed to other participants for them to spend some time with and provide their thoughts to be discussed on that upcoming session. 

To ensure an effective crit series; interested artists who sign up should be prepared to contribute, and confident in their availability to attend all sessions (Likely a Wed 6:30-7:30 – the exact dates will be confirmed when we have an idea of interest).

These calls will not be recorded, artists should feel secure that all discussions will stay within the group. Sharing artwork for critique can be intimidating, this group will provide constructive criticism in order to support each other’s professional development.
