Funding Support: Arts & Disability Connects

I’m hosting a series of support workshops for anyone interested in applying to the Arts & Disability Connect Round 2 funding from Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI).
ADI offers a range of funding twice per year specifically for artists with disabilities. These awards (which will be explored in more detail in the workshops) cover four areas of development:
1. Training – €1000
2. Mentoring – €3000
3. Research and Reflection – €5000
4. New Work – €15000
The deadline for Round 2 is Tuesday the 29th of September 2026.
If you are wondering if this funding opportunity applies to you, ADI defines people with disabilities as: ‘those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which, in interaction with various barriers, may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.’
These workshops will occur weekly and will operate in a similar manner to our Agility Award Application workshops. We will begin next week on Wednesday the 2nd of September at 6pm with an introductory call in which I will cover more details of each stream of funding, how to sign up to their website, and the details and documents you will need to gather in order to begin your application.
If you would like to work with anyone for this award (such as mentoring) be sure to contact them as soon as possible to ensure they have enough time to get together the necessary supporting documents (covered in more detail in the workshops).
