
What is it?
An introduction to our darkroom: recapping on equipment and procedures. This workshop is aimed at photographers with experience in photo-chemical development and print, looking to use this space in the future.
This 3 hour session will give an overview of the facilities and equipment as well as tips on how to make the best use of this shared space.

Members who are already familiar with darkrooms.

All materials will be provided.

Participants will become familiar with the specificities of our darkroom space to enable them to use it independently and safely.

What you will not learn:
How to shoot, develop, or print film from a beginners level of understanding.

Skillsharing:
If you have specific things you would like to learn we suggest practicing the basics on your own time first until you are confident, and then use online tutorials on YouTube or similar to up your skills.
We also encourage you to team up and share skills and tips. You can start a group in ‘Art Gangs’ or use this one to chat, share links and ask questions!
