ARTIST BIO
Maria Parodi is a Dublin-based artist originally from South America with a background in teaching and dance. She graduated with a Master’s in Fine Art from NCAD in 2022. Her practice explores the intersection of science and technology, examining their relationship and implications while reflecting on the sentimental and nostalgic dimensions of human existence. Working primarily through mixed-media paintings and installations, she creates eclectic visual narratives using diverse textures, surfaces, and recycled materials. She is currently extending her practice into performance.
