Ellen Fagan is an Irish Artist, Curator and Art Researcher whose work explores semiotics, folklore and social constructs. Working through photography, sculpture, film, and writing, her practice investigates surreal assemblages in the landscape, as well as the ritualistic use of objects and their social histories. Studying Fine Art Sculpture at the University of the Arts London and holding an M.Phil in the History of Art and Architecture from Trinity College Dublin, her practice in recent years has focused on socially engaged art. She is the co-founder of Self Care Craft Club, a social craft initiative to tackle social isolation in communities.
