Call for applications | 2 Workspaces available at A4 Studios

8

We are currently taking applications for 2 workspaces now available in one of our private studios. Where possible we aim to reserve these for individuals whose work is in line with our own mission as an arts organisation.

We are seeking applications from thinkers and doers from a wide range of backgrounds whose work has a social, community or political slant. Unfortunately individuals whose work is solely commercial will not be considered at this time but we will consider these applications in future.

About A4

A4’s mission is to transform the means by which cultural works are produced, accessed, and understood in Ireland, and by doing so to contribute to the development of a more just society. We want to Make Art That Matters.

The A4 Arts Studio is home to over 60 artists working in a wide range of disciplines including; Fine Art, Design, Research, Education, Animation, Electronics, Performance and Writing. We have designed our studio as a shared workspace with a focus on providing a wide range of facilities, including screen-printing, electronics area, workshop and darkroom. The open plan and shared nature of the studio facilitates engagement, collaboration and informal skill sharing between members. Alongside this we also programme workshops and courses throughout the year, pulling in the wide range of skills under our roof.

Interested applicants also have the option to rent both spaces if a larger workspace is required (cost €250: membership €50 + 2 x personal workspaces €100).

If you are interested in becoming a member of our studio please fill our our membership contact form.
