Participating artists are Christina Shiakola\, Eliza Pieri\, Mandalena Miltiadi\, Manuel McCarthy Valderrama\, and Vassilis Vassiliades. Drawing inspiration from Sailing to Byzantium by W. B. Yeats\, the exhibition explores themes of transcendence\, memory\, and the passage of time\, reflecting on the human desire for continuity beyond material existence.Positioned at Europe’s geographical margins\, Cyprus and Ireland—two islands shaped by layered histories and cultural encounters—are brought into dialogue through artistic exchange. The exhibition reflects on these parallel conditions\, where separation andconnection coexist\, and where identity is continually negotiated through memory and lived experience. The exhibition coincides with the Republic of Cyprus assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union\, highlighting culture as a space for dialogue and shared European values.
